ANNUAL PROJECTS.

Arbor
Day

1-17-25

Keep Pasco Beautiful and the Florida Forest Service, Urban & Community Forestry Grant  celebrated Florida Arbor Day with a Native Tree giveaway on January 17! There were over 445 trees provided to the community.

Joining and participating in community ecological events is like embarking on an eco-adventure! It's a chance to bond with fellow nature enthusiasts, get your hands dirty, and make a real impact on your local environment. Imagine the thrill of planting trees, spotting wildlife, and transforming a neglected area into a lush, green haven. These events not only boost your eco-cred but also provide a fantastic opportunity to learn cool, sustainable practices that you can brag about later. Plus, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing the tangible results of your efforts—a cleaner park, a restored riverbank, or a thriving community garden. So, grab your gloves, rally your friends, and get ready for an eco-tastic experience that benefits both the planet and your community!

Greatest American Cleanup

3-1-25

Keep Pasco Beautiful has been participating in the Great American Cleanup since 1992.  The Great American Cleanup in Pasco County is always the first Saturday in March. On March 1, 2025, 1,027 volunteers picked up 46,560 lbs. of litter across 50 locations around Pasco County.

Earth
Day

4-26-25

Earth Day has been celebrated every year in Pasco County on the fourth Saturday of April at Crews Lake Wilderness Park - located at 16739 Crews Lake Dr., Spring Hill, Florida.  This year it will be held on April 26th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

World Oceans
Day

6-8-25

World Oceans Day is celebrated annually on June 8. Every year, KPB conducts a World Oceans Day outreach campaign
to educate the community on the importance of proper disposal of trash to help minimize pollution in our waters. On June 8, 2024, 82 volunteers picked up 860 pounds of trash and prevented it from entering our waters.

Keep Pasco Beautiful Cleanup

9-20-25

It is estimated that 80% of the trash in our waters originates from land.  Litter and debris along our roadways ends up in stormwater systems which ultimately lead to rivers, lakes and open waters.  To protect our waters, we have the Keep Pasco Beautiful Cleanup the third Saturday of every September. In 2024, thanks to our 1,363 volunteers, we picked up 62,000 lbs of trash together.
